Founded by a WWII veteran, MSC is committed to supporting our servicemen and women’s transition to the civilian workforce. At MSC we recognize the commitment and dedication it takes to serve our country and value the leadership skills, strategic talents, and sense of purpose the military has instilled in you. We invite you to build a better career with MSC where you can collaborate with others on a shared mission, achieve both individual and company objectives, as well as make an impact on our growth and the communities we serve.
“Prior to retiring, | served in the military for 25 years with my last assignment being the 29th Commandant of the United States Army Drill Sergeant Academy. My favorite part of the job was how rewarding it was to lead diverse teams. As Director of Atlanta’s Customer Fulfillment site, MSC allows me to use my experiences from the military to excel at my job which continues to fulfill my leadership aspirations.”
James Hill, Direcoter of Customer Fulfillment
“My 13 years in the Army taught me many things that translate into my career at MSC. Military leadership is slightly different than in the civilian job world, but a lot of the principles carry over. Lead by example, provide coaching and support, be a team player, and accept no excuses when it comes to success are keys to both. I strive to utilize my military leadership experience in mycareer at MSC, to be the best leader that I can be.”

MSC HELPING HEROES
Our signature cause focuses on mobilizing the collective power of our 6,000-plus associates behind a single worthy cause: veterans and their families.
"MSCs involvement in the communities we serve dates back to 1941 and our founder, Sid Jacobson. Sid believed that companies were accountable not just to shareholders but to their communities. Our brand promise, ‘Built to Make You Better,’ honors that purpose and what we stand for - we exist for the betterment of others, not ourselves.”
- Erik Gershwind, MSC President & CEO
