MSC's Charitable Fund

MSC’s Charitable Fund is a program to assist United States associates with unexpected financial hardships that place undue stress on them or their family.


MSC has been supporting local and national non-profit organizations throughout its history. We support our communities at large through charitable contributions, in-kind donations, and volunteering. We Fuel Potential of our non-profits and communities through our goal “to make a positive contribution to the communities we live and work in by promoting MSC’s unique culture of teamwork, delivering positive results, sharing, and diversity.” 

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT: INVESTING IN OUR ASSOCIATES’ GROWTH

In support of the personal and professional development of associates,  MSC offers a variety of formal and informal learning sessions through MSC University. Our learning philosophy is centered on the industry-standard 70/20/10 methodology. This learning model suggests that effective development for associates should be approximately 70% from on-the-job experiences—working on tasks and problems; 20% through coaching,mentoring, and feedback; and 10% from formal training. Some of the learning components offered through MSC University include General Offering Sessions, Core Learning Programs for Leaders, Mentoring, Coaching, and a variety of Organizational Effectiveness Solutions. MSC University directly X Se. supports our company’s Talent Management Strategy.

Tuition Reimbursement

MSC offers an affordable way to continue your education through our tuition reimbursement program. Our program caters to the specific needs of each of our associates and offers opportunities for continued education at all levels.


  • 100% tuition, books, and fees are covered for select undergraduate and master's degrees through a partnership with an online accredited university.
  • Up to $5,250 a year for undergraduate degrees, master’s degrees, and certificates.
