BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The GO Team Site Leader is the single point of contact for the customer at the customer's facility for the duration of the GO Team project Go Team Project is defined as incremental revenue of $750k or more with multiple solutions implemented at the customer site. The Site Leader directs the regional GO Team, owns the implementation process start-to-finish, and aids in creating and executing the Scope of Work and site SOPs. The Site Leader is proficient with Challenger Selling methodology and has a strong understanding of MSC's Solutions implementation process. The Site Leader has knowledge of MSC's process flow and can collaborate with multiple business units. This role's main responsibility is to increase the speed of the implementation of MSC's Large Accounts program to on average 60-days while meeting revenue extraction and financial goals and informing the business of key milestones. The Site Leader is responsible for a turnkey handoff to Sales at the end of implementation. Not limited to but including facilitating onsite training, Day 1 CIR and hand-off to Sales.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs GO Team in planning and daily activities at the customer location.
  • Owns the full implementation process from start to finish.
  • Responsible for Go Team projects of incremental revenue of $750K ore more and with multiple solutions implemented at the customer site.
  • Responsible for leading the team to increase revenue extraction and successfully implement within 60-days.
  • Works closely with customers to identify their managed inventory needs and executes the plan to implement the right solution.
  • Maintains ongoing notes and feedback to support Go Team Continuous Improvement efforts
  • Prepares and delivers customer-facing Sales presentations for example BNA Output and Implementation recommendations
  • Drives and manages the specific activities and measurements that lead to successful goal achievement for the team and for individual direct reports ensuring that associates have the tools, training and feedback needed.
  • Drives program's specific financial targets, goals, and actions necessary to achieve customer and program profitability.
  • Works cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions, and Project Management to drive programs that exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Communicates with Customer C-Suite
  • Provides mentorship to other managers for team and associate development
  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined by the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review, and development of associates.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Minimum of five years of sales or supply chain experience is required.
  • Minimum of five years of direct management or six years complex cross functional project management experience is required.
  • Minimum three years supporting value-added customer solutions and inventory programs required.
  • Coaching and training experience required
  • Minimum of two years Industrial/manufacturing sales, knowledge of MSC-like product lines/services and MSC experience is required.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Leadership, coaching and team building skills required
  • Project management skills required
  • Ability to communicate with C-Suite level required.
  • Proficient in Challenger Sales Methodology preferred.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Problem solving and root-cause identification skills required
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges required
  • Experience with the knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel extensively
  • 80%+ overnight travel based on project needs
  • Ability to work in various types of industrial environments.
  • Must be able to pass customer-specific background demands which may include but are not limited to drug testing, criminal background checks, etc.
  • This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).

Compensation starting at $82390 - $116924 depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
