BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

This position requires a candidate to possess multiple skills to successfully support a large customer located in Marysville, Ohio Experience with MRO vending machines is preferred. The position requires regular interaction with multiple levels of customer associates including machine operators, supervisors, engineers and plant management Candidate must be comfortable interacting with a variety of people in a fast-paced environment while completing daily tasks combined with occasional long term inventory management projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily activities include receiving, stocking vending machines, and handling spot buys for multiple departments.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer personnel across all levels.
  • Monitor and replenish inventory levels in vending machines to ensure product availability and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct periodic audits and assist with long-term inventory management projects, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Identify and escalate product availability issues or sourcing challenges to appropriate MSC teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies and recommending enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, spot buys, and inventory movements using MSC systems.
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific protocols and safety standards while operating on-site.
  • Provide product recommendations and technical support for MRO supplies based on customer needs.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSCs vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

What You Need:

  • Customer service experience and solid knowledge of cutting tools and MRO supplies is required.
  • Skills include sourcing, quoting, order entry, and an understanding of wholesale distribution software.

Other Requirements:

  • A valid drivers license may be required.
  • Position requires up to 5% of travel
  • This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (ITAR) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

Compensation starting at $25 - $30 / hour dependent on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidates relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
