DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages Goods-In workflow to ensure optimum service levels are maintained.
- Manages Goods-In operation to ensure supervisors meet production schedules.
- Attends cross-functional meetings regarding new procedures or improvements to the current system.
- Interacts with product managers to improve the quality of Goods-In process.
- Assists with vendor selection and workshops.
- Assists in resolving Accounts Payable discrepancies.
- Shares ?best practices with other CFCs. and participates as a member of the CFCs management group in providing information on the status of the functional areas distribution for strategic and business planning, to manage the CFC and support its expansion and growth.
- Monitors various reports, production statistics, REs (reasonable expectancies), and error rates and takes corrective action.
- Monitors and adheres to culture training policies and initiatives.
- Interacts with the Goods-Out team to aid in reducing the number of errors that leave the CFC.
- Assists with building security.
- Promotes safe work practices.
- Fosters cross-functional utilization of assets to ensure timely and effective inbound processing of material.
- Ensures inventory integrity is maintained throughout the process.
- Ensures Distribution Center space is most effectively used.
- Assists CFC Director in budget preparation and compliance.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements and standards.
- Improves inventory accuracy while reducing in-bound distribution costs.
- Develops and supports supervisory goals regarding safety metrics.
- Provides resources for Global Safety initiatives.
- Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined in the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC?s mission.
In order to meet customer service requirements, associates can be temporarily re-assigned to other warehouse functions.
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Associates degree or the equivalent required.
- Five years of distribution experience and 2 years supervisory experience required.
SKILLS:
Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software required.
Good working knowledge of the distribution process and good in/goods out process required.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Knowledge of computers and AS/400 system required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Bending to lift items from the floor and racks required.
- Lifting items between 25 and 50 pounds required.
- Ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet required.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time required.

- Position may require a valid states drivers license.
