BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform Facility and Shop Floor Machinery Maintenance, including oversight of outside contractors who are brought on-site to perform specific maintenance duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs repairs and maintenance projects.
- Troubleshoots and repairs any piece of machinery to ensure it works properly and is safe for associates to use.
- Oversees the efficient operation of utilities, including water, electricity, and HVAC systems.
- Maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Manages machine maintenance schedule and interact with production to minimize downtime
- Solicits proposals and review bids for outside maintenance service providers.
- Recommends installation and repair activities completed by anyone, including outside service providers.
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
- Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
What You Need:
- High School Graduate with 2-Year Technical / Vocational Degree in facility management or relevant experience.
- Certification program in Maintenance Management and related machinery repair certifications.
- Minimum of five years working on CNC machinery.
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to read maintenance manuals and understand machinery schematics.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 50+pounds.
- Ability to work within the designated maintenance schedule generated through ECI – E2 JobBoss2 software.
- Comfortable working in a challenging environment to deal with the pressure when an integral piece of equipment may be go-down and in need of immediate service.
- Forklift Operator license required.

- Capability/knowledge to perform annual maintenance on Platit coating vessels, ACNA CNC grinding machines, TRU-TECH/RolloMatic/Reinecker OD Grinders.

- Working Conditions:
- Stationed in the shop approximately 95% of working time.
- Occasional overtime hours required when necessary to get critical machinery operational.
