BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Manufacturing Manager will manage all aspects of the Quality and ISO system at the Manufacturing Shop

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the upper management team to set quality benchmarks and track progress against them.
  • Works within the guidelines set forth by the Quality Management System including ISO system and certification
  • Supervise quality technicians to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met
  • Adhere to inspection and testing criteria, maintains records
  • Assist with oversight of the maintenance and calibration of measurement and test equipment.
  • Oversight of disposition of non-conforming products.
  • Interact with customers and sales force to help resolve quality issues
  • Evaluates and monitors qualified supplier performance, maintains records
  • Manage site data collection including JB2 and Machine Metrics data
  • Manages & oversees consolidated Quality Management System that ensures compliance with all regulatory and certification requirements throughout the Manufacturing organization.
  • Reviews customer regulatory requirements and develops courses of action to ensure compliance of what the customer is asking for
  • Integral part of setting up and maintaining controls and documented procedures and processes
  • Make suggestions for changes and improvements of the quality management system and develop implementation plans
  • Stays up to date on trends in Quality Management System regulatory requirements and implements all changes to ensure compliancy to said standards
  • Lead the continuous improvement of product quality through the life cycle from new products to manufacturing
  • Implement and maintain the Quality Management System requirements and ISO certifications
  • Set the quality objectives and goals for the site(s).
  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of an MSC Manager including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent relevant work experience required
  • Previous Quality Management experience (Required)
  • Previous experience working with customers and suppliers (required)

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with ISO Standards
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma Principles

Other Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Position requires up to 10% of travel
  • This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”)

Compensation starting at $56280 - $88440 depending on experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
