BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of a Financial Systems Analyst has broad responsibility for the implementation and day-to-day functional administration across both the OneStream and SAP suite of finance applications. Working with Business Intelligence tools to provide financial information to assist management in decision making.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as the System Administrator for OneStream CPM.
  • Acts as the System Administrator for SAP Finance
  • Works with SAP Business Intelligence programs, such as AFO, to develop schedules and charts highlighting financial performance trends.
  • Writes and maintains Visual Basic code for Excel and OneStream to improve efficiencies for various financial functions.
  • Supports development of Onestream application to incorporate new enhancements such as predictive budgeting using AI.
  • Updates interfaces between SAP, OneStream, and other Systems
  • Develops analytical models to test and support process improvement and key business initiatives.
  • Analyzes trends utilizing statistical and accounting tools and/or utilizing Excel and Access
  • Works with Operational Accounting Management in developing and maintaining key metric reporting and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Develops and automates the generation of various reports for weekly and/or monthly distribution.
  • Supports users with various financial applications.
  • Participation in special projects and performing additional duties as required.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Information Systems, or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3+ years of job-related experience is required.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Excel and Access is required. Knowledge of Visual Basic applications preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the Financial & Operational Accounting processes required.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills required.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Knowledge of OneStream CPM preferred.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence reporting (ex: Oracle, SAP, AFO, Crystal, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time are required.

Compensation starting at $71,900 - $112,970 depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
