BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

Delivering and Picking up Tooling.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving to Customers facilities for pickup and delivery.
  • Keeping track of what is to be delivered and what was picked up.
  • Keeping Vehicles Clean
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time by upper management.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSCs vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

What You Need:

  • High School Graduate
  • Training or knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Ability to be friendly and professional while visiting all facilities.
  • Ability to know and abide by each facilities safety requirements.
  • Ability to work a GPS/Cell phone to navigate routes.
  • Ability to use computers and email.

Sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials (maximum 50 pounds individual or team lift), carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, climbing using legs and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, repeated bends, reaching high and low, and repetitive twisting or pressure, involving wrist and hands. Hearing, seeing (including depth perception and peripheral vision), ability of mental coordination. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required for position. Mentally alert for entire shift.

  • Lifts up to 50lbs on regular basis onto and off of a delivery vehicle
  • Carrying tool bins as required.
  • Ability to enter into and off the delivery vehicle at regular intervals
  • Ability to drive an extended amount of time (potential of up to 8 hours/day)
  • Ability to drive in inclement weather and general road conditions.

Required Training:

  • .1-2 weeks on-site job training with another Tru-Edge associate

Other Training Requirements (to be completed first 6 months):

  • General Safety Plan
  • Emergency Action Plan
  • Fire Safety Plan

Compensation starting at $13 - $17 / hour dependent on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidates relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
