BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Support Coordinator will process customer orders, handle phone calls, and assist the Finance and Manufacturing Business Support Manager – Mfg. supporting business operations and entry level accounting tasks. In addition, they will handle customer and vendor data, process vendor and customer transactions, generate reporting, and interact with customers, vendors and other functional team members.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Create production work orders and make packing slips for shipping goods. · Manage customer invoicing, generating and sending monthly statements, customer cash application and follow up on past due invoices. Working with Finance and Business Support Manager to collect delinquent receivables. · Create purchase orders for work orders (production materials), shop and office supplies. · Process vendor invoices in QuickBooks and manage payables for disbursements. · Responsible for obtaining support for and properly recording purchasing card charges. · Responsible for document retention for areas of responsibility. · Daily interaction with operations, customers, vendors, and sales force. · Manage incoming phone traffic and directs as necessary. Some may be related to the role. · Manage and address Customer Service and Vendor correspondence (emails and phone calls) · Greet and escort clients and visitors as soon as they arrive in the office in a professional and friendly manner. · Update monthly maintenance reports used by operations. · Help the Accounting Manager create, revise, and update reports as needed. Such as creation of month end inventory, sales reports used for close and/or creation of shop output ratios to determine efficiency. · New customer and vendor evaluation and setup. · Input new inventory items into the inventory management system and maintain accurate stock records. · Analyze, input, and retain hardware by customer and tool number for future repairs.

· Compile, analyze, and maintain weekly machinist output data to monitor production performance, support operational planning, and identify efficiency trends. · Oversees quote follow-up activities for manufacturing and repair orders to support customer engagement, improve quote-to-order conversion rates, and maintain strong customer relationships. · Track and report daily operational and sales KPIs, providing timely insights on vendor delivery performance, quote expiration status, incoming sales, and progress toward sales goals. · Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose. · Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: · High School Graduate (required) · Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism · Ability and knowledge to use Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks · Ability to operate a multi-line telephone · Ability to assist in training others

Compensation starting at $ 15.24 - $ 23.96/hr depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
